I am certain that most of the people who have a domain are looking into paths to help them to draw in more folks to read their site. How many backward links should I be trying to obtain?  In my humble opinion you want to be careful not to build up the number of these backward links too fast.

It should be a continual project across the life of the site. If as an example you’re able to get 10 each week for 5 years, this would be wonderful. This can quite simply raise a red flag with the search engines. There is no straightforward solution, troublesome work pays off and we want to have patience. I look to the long run and believe in time the work I put in today will be of great benefit to me tomorrow.
