3 Things You Must Know About CPA Offers
If you are a beginner CPA marketer, the overwhelming variety of offers can look quite daunting. It might seem overwhelming at first to try and figure out what all the different offers are.
The most well known CPA offers are the zip-submit, trial offers and email submits. Saj P’s Zero Friction Marketing CPA affiliate marketing product discusses these offers in greater detail.
The most popular CPA offers with advertisers and marketers are the free trial offers, and I will talk about these first. It’s an obvious solution. The free trial offers are the most popular for the reason that the customer only has to pay a small price for all shipping and handling costs, usually $1.95. The customer gets a product they are interested for an incredibly low price, and the advertiser gets a valuable lead.
As a marketer, you might be wondering how this benefits you. With this “free offer”, companies will in turn pay you, the affiliate, anywhere from $20-$100 for each qualifies lead that chooses to order the free CPA offer. The main reason for this is because generally all “free” CPA offers are actually forced continuity programs where you prospect will in turn, purchase many more products from the advertiser, thus securing them a qualified long term customer. After the free trial has finished, the customer usually will continue on with the advertisers program/products generally though a monthly auto-shipping program.
All you need to worry about, however, is delivering the lead, retaining the customer is up to the advertiser. That means that you get a high commission on an offer that is easy to convert. All you have to do is drive targeted traffic to the companies landing page. Free-trial offers are popular for this reason.
Zip code submits are also another common type of CPA offers. When the user enters their ZIP area code, you get paid by the advertiser. You can be sure that the company running the promotion has a way to make money from the customer on the back end. Once the ZIP code has been filled out, you are then paid for the user filling out this form. These offers convert extremely well, although they are generally low-paying. You might earn as little as 75 cents to $1 for a zip submit, but if you can drive a lot of traffic to them even small change can add up to big money.
Email submits is another similar type of offer. The term “the money is in the list” is true to the extent that you want to have a list of pre-qualified buyers, and companies are willing to pay money to obtain this. You provide the advertiser this list. The user enters their email address and the advertising company pays you a commission. If you send a lot of traffic to these CPA offers, they will convert and you will get paid for those conversions.
